Oberth class

The Federation Starship Lowell, an Oberth class vessel, was commissioned in May 2349.

Note

Named for the Human astronomer, Percival Lowell. Although the "Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual" lists the Lowell as a Sagan class vessel, this designation was superseded by the Oberth class name.
