The Federation Starship Silverion, a Baker class destroyer, was commanded by Captain Phemillia O'Hara; on Reference Stardate 2/2107 (July 2221), the Silverion was called to support a task force sent by Commodore Jarv Gouthar of Starbase 14 to intercept the U.S.S. Cooper NCC-4791 and take its captain, Commodore William Masefield, into custody. The task force encountered and engaged a Klingon fleet—including the D-10 Riskadh class I.K.S. Varg'cel, the D-7M K't'inga class I.K.S. Teniwa and I.K.S. Tebitvu, and the D-18B Lara'atan (Gull) class I.K.S. Kaxfiw, I.K.S. Ky'jecum, and the I.K.S. Ganh Wusav—moving into Federation space before returning with the Cooper to Starbase 14.[1]
