The Federation Starship Stafford was a Baker class destroyer, and was commissioned on Reference Stardate 2/1606 (June 2272).[1][Notes 1]

- ↑ The hull number range for the Baker class was established in the first edition of the "Federation Ship Recognition Manual." The second edition established that the first three vessels were the Baker, the Stafford, and the Peterson. Although the hull numbers were not given in the second edition, the order was implicit in the text, and has been reflected for this entry.
