Defensive technology, often consisting of hardened metal designed to protect an object or person. In 2254, Captain Christopher Pike felt that he "should have smelled trouble" with the Kalar on Rigel VII when he saw their swords and armor.[1] Trelane kept a suit of armor on display on Gothos.[2]
