Advertising

Democracy is a form of government in which the people vote in order to decide matters. The chain of command aboard a starship did not operate as a democracy, a fact which Captain James T. Kirk reminded Lieutenant David Bailey during a tense encounter with the First Federation Starship Fesarius on Stardate 1512.1.[1]
