The heart was the organ responsible for distributing blood through the body of most life forms. While the heart was located near the center of the chest on Humans, it was located near the bottom of the rib cage on the left side of a Vulcan's body.[1] The Talosians viewed a great deal of information while accessing the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 computer in 2254, including Human anatomy, specifically the heart and other organs.[2]
