The Federation Starship Aries was a Renaissance class vessel.[1] William Riker turned down an offer to command the ship in 2365.[2] The Aries was the last assignment of former U.S.S. Victory NCC-9754 crew member Mendez before her disappearance in 2367.[3] Named for the Terran constellation, also known as the Ram.[1]
