Operation Brutus (FASA)

On Reference Stardate 1/0804 (April 2108), during the Romulan War, Star Fleet Intelligence Command's Romulan Sector Intelligence began Operation Brutus: a surveillance operation to detect the Romulan fleet's objectives as they moved toward the Triangle. The operation was a success; as a result, Federation forces intercepted and engaged the Romulan fleet in the Battle of Gamma Hydra on Reference Stardate 1/0805.02 (2 May 2108).[1]
