The Federation Starship Prometheus, the prototype of the Prometheus class, was briefly seized by Romulan forces in 2374, but was recovered by Starfleet.[2] The Prometheus was part of a task force that intercepted a Borg Sphere during the Starship Voyager's return to the Alpha Quadrant in 2377.[3]
