light
From Trekipedia
Illumination created by the presence of electromagnetic radiation in the visible spectrum.[1] Most starships have running lights on the exterior of the vessel, as well as ample interior lighting.[2] When Charlie Evans took control of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, Captain Kirk ordered that "every device on the ship, every circuit, every light, all of it" be turned on, distracting the boy long enough for Kirk to regain control of the situation.[3]
