The Federation Starship Dewey was a Larson class destroyer commissioned on Reference Stardate 1/9801 (January 2256). The Dewey was refit to the Larson class Mark II specifications on Reference Stardate 2/0101 (January 2259), giving it more powerful phasers and an additional torpedo launcher. On Reference Stardate 2/1310 (November 2270), the ship was refit again to the Mark VI configuration, and Reference Stardate 2/1606 (June 2272) saw another refit, this time to the Mark VII specifications. As of Reference Stardate 2/2306 (June 2286), the Dewey was still on active service.[1]
FASA Timeline

On Reference Stardate 2/1310 (October 2213), the ship was refit again to the Mark VI configuration, and Reference Stardate 2/1606 (June 2216) saw another refit, this time to the Mark VII specifications. As of Reference Stardate 2/2306 (June 2223), the Dewey was still on active service.[1]
