- c.RSD -4/82: The earliest known Klingon literature, a crude epic poem about a great war, is composed. The poem tells of the conflict between the komerex Nevre (Northern Empire) and falgav a'kavna (Crescent Islanders). According to the poem, wars raged between these two groups for decades before the Northern Empire swallowed up the Crescent Islanders. Then, the poem relates, a series of conflicts with the komerex Klingon (Empire of the People) began, which lasted "for a thousand times a thousand nights." This is the earliest known reference to "the Klingon Empire."[2]
