On Stardate 2825.3, he was an ensign and manning the helm when the ship arrived at Benecia.[1] Several months later, on Stardate 3087.6, he had been promoted to lieutenant and was at the helm when the ship investigated moments of galaxy-wide "nonexistence," which Starfleet Command believed to be a potential prelude to invasion from an alternate universe.[2]
