Myriad Universes: baffle plate
A baffle plate was an important component of a ship's reactor. On Stardate 1533.6, Charlie Evans made the baffle plate on the reactor of the U.S.S. Antares NCC-501 disappear, causing an explosion that destroyed the ship.[1]
