Lindstrom[1] was a representative from Starfleet Command at Starbase 11 on Stardate 2947.3, when he was tapped to serve on the court martial of fellow starship captain James T. Kirk, who was accused of negligence and perjury in the death of Lieutenant Commander Ben Finney. Kirk was later cleared of all charges when Finney was discovered to have faked his death in order to frame the captain.[2]
