The second planet[3] of thirteen in the Beta Tauri system, Taurus II was a Class M world[1] that supported a primitive, aggressive, and enormous anthropoid species[3] with an estimated population of 145 million.[1] The planet had a very thin atmosphere, with the air pressure reading at only 70 mmHg, or 9.33kPa. (standard atmospheric pressure is 101.325kPa) The atmosphere also contained an appreciable amount of nitrogen, as well as trace amounts of argon, neon, and krypton.[3]
