(The root of all realities)

The Federation Starship Nova was the prototype[1] of the Nova class heavy scouts.[2] In 2379, the Nova was part of Starfleet Battle Group Omega, tasked with intercepting the Reman Warbird Scimitar in Sector 1045 to prevent an attack on Earth. The Scimitar, however, stopped to attack the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E in the Bassen Rift before entering Federation space, and was destroyed before the task force could reach the area.[3]
