The Federation Starship Edward Pellew was a Mission class transport. Following the imposition of the Organian Peace Treaty and a resulting Star Fleet drawdown, the ship was retired and sold to the private sector.[1]
Two Brothers
After its decommissioning and sale to the private sector, the ship had several modifications not common to other ships of the same type. Partitions were installed in the bunkroom, providing four small double-occupancy areas for increased privacy. Concealed panels were installed in the cargo bay by one owner who occasionally engaged in smuggling.[1]
The ship went through several owners before coming into the possession of David and James Ross, backed by Christine Sorensson. Shortly after the ship came into the possession of the Ross brothers, from Reference Stardate 2/1209-2/1212 (September through December 2212),[2] the Two Brothers became involved in uncovering a plot surrounding dilithium shipment hijackings out of Coridan.[1]
