Perspiration, or sweat, was a method that many mammalian species used to cool their bodies. On Stardate 1704.5, Dr. McCoy of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 discovered that polywater intoxication was transmitted through bodily fluids, such as perspiration.[1]
