A chapel was a small facility set aside for the practice of religious rites and ceremonies. On Stardate 1709.2, Lieutenants Robert Tomlinson and Angela Martine's wedding was interrupted while being held in the chapel aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701.[1]
