Starfleet Lieutenant Larry Matson was assigned to the command division aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 in 2267. On Stardate 2817.6, he was in the rec room while Lieutenant Uhura performed "Beyond Antares" for Lieutenant Riley over the ship's communications system, and the subsequent attempt on Riley's life during the song.[1]
