The Marshall class destroyer became operational circa 2155, and was rushed into service. Equipped with many of the most recent technological advances, this warship was a mainstay of the Coalition's combat fleet during the latter part of the Romulan War.[1][2] In the 2230s and '40s, several Marshall class ships were brought out of mothballs and upgraded with modern systems and weaponry.[3]

FASA Timeline

The Marshall class destroyer became operational on Reference Stardate 1/0511 (November 2105), and was rushed into service. Equipped with many of the most recent technological advances, this warship was the mainstay of the Federation's combat fleet during the latter part of the Romulan War. The Marshall class, with a complement of 157, remained in active service for 60 years, longer than any other major warship class before or since. A total of 2900 Marshall class vessels were built.[1][2]
