A small Class J planetoid orbiting a yellow star,[1] Planet Q was a Human colony[2] that was terraformed and settled in the early 23rd century as a colony of scientists deliberately separate from the Federation's core worlds.[1] In 2207, it was home to Dr. Thomas Leighton and his wife, Martha.[2] Supporting a population of nearly 450,000, Planet Q was habitable, if somewhat barren, and most of the population still resided in the domed city of New Princeton.[1] The Karidian Company of Players made their final stop at Planet Q on Stardate 2817.6.[2]
