- James T. Kirk and Areel Shaw have their last encounter late this year, until four years, seven months later, on Stardate 2747.3.[1]
- The S.S. Beagle disappears in the vicinity of 892 IV. It will be discovered in 2268 that the ship was struck by meteors and destroyed, and the crew was forced to take refuge on the planet, where they were forced to participate in gladiatorial games until nearly all were killed.[2]
