The Durrett class was first brought into service in September 2273. Of the 108 vessels constructed by June 2281, 102 remained in active service, one was in use by Starfleet Training Command, two were destroyed, two were listed as missing, and one had been scrapped. The Durrett class was produced at the Venus shipyard at a rate of 14 per year.[1]
