The Federation Starship Columbia was a Hermes class scout of the Cygnus subclass (aka the Cygnus class). The Cygnus subclass was specially outfitted for regular duty as command and diplomatic couriers.[1] On 7410.2, the Columbia was ordered to rendezvous with the U.S.S. Revere NCC-595.[2]
The Federation Starship Aries, a Hermes class scout of the Cygnus subclass (aka the Cygnus class), was authorized for production by the Starfleet Appropriation of Stardate 3669. The Cygnus subclass was specially outfitted for regular duty as command and diplomatic couriers.[1] On 7410.2, the Columbia was ordered to rendezvous with the U.S.S. Revere NCC-595.[2]
