This unnamed centurion served under his Commander for many years before their Bird of Prey was equipped with a cloaking device and a plasma torpedo system and sent on a mission to test Federation defenses along the Romulan Neutral Zone on Stardate 1709.2. The Centurion was killed when the Bird of Prey was attacked by the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, and his body was ejected into space with some debris in an attempt to fool Captain Kirk into believing the ship had been destroyed.[1]
