Doctor Henry Jekyll was a character from an Earth novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, an early science fiction tale about a scientist, Dr. Henry Jekyll, who created a drug that released a monstrous second personality, Mr. Edward Hyde. On Stardate 1514.1, Commander Balok of the First Federation vessel Fesarius described a frightening-looking puppet that he had used in communications as "the Hyde to my Jekyll."[1]
