During the Eugenics Wars on Earth, Stavos Keniclius sought to create a "master race" of cloned super-humans, in order to impose peace on the world. When the conflict ended in defeat for the Augments he helped create, he fled into space, eventually landing on Phylos. His presence inadvertently prevented the Phylosians from launching their own mission to impose peace on the galaxy, when a strain of staphylococcus he carried decimated their population. He ultimately cloned himself in an effort to continue working on his and the Phylosians' shared goals.[1]
