Sam[1] Ellis was an officer[2] aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 in 2207.[1] A member of Dr. McCoy's staff,[2] he sparred with Captain Kirk in the ship's gymnasium. On Stardate 1533.6, Charlie Evans, in a fit of adolescent anger, used the incredible mental powers given to him by the Thasians to make Ellis vanish. Ellis was later restored to reality by the Thasians.[1]
