The U.S.S. Baton Rouge, the first cruiser of the Baton Rouge class, was commissioned on Reference Stardate 1/7008 (August 2196).[1][2][3][4] Prior to commanding the U.S.S. Xenophon and the U.S.S. Constitution NCC-1700, Captain Kelvar Garth, aka "Garth of Izar," commanded the Baton Rouge.[3]
