Constitution class refit[1]

The Constitution class Starship Yorktown was commissioned in December 2275,[2] and in December 2281 was refit to Mark III specifications.[3] The Yorktown was disabled in Sector 001 by an alien space probe approaching Earth in 2286.[4] Captain Joel Randolph[5] reported that the ship's chief engineer had rigged a makeshift solar sail to provide emergency power for the crippled starship.[4] The Yorktown was destroyed in August 2296.[3]
