Constitution class refit[1]
Construction on the Constitution class Starship Wasp was authorized by the Starfleet Appropriation of Stardate 3220.[2] The Wasp was constructed to Refit Mark I specifications, and commissioned in June 2277.[3] In January 2282, the Wasp was refit to Mark III specifications, then again in February 2291 Mark IV specifications. The Wasp was scrapped in December 2313.[4]

The registry listed for the Wasp in the "Federation Ship Recognition Manual," NCC-1734, conflicts with that given in the "Star Fleet Technical Manual," NCC-1721, and has been disregarded.
