U.S.S. Yorktown II NCC-1717 (FASA)

Constitution class refit^[1]

The Constitution class Starship Yorktown was commissioned on Reference Stardate 2/1712^[2] (December 2275),^{[Notes 1]} and on Reference Stardate 2/2312 (December 2281) was refit to Mark III specifications.^[3] The Yorktown was disabled in Sector 001 by an alien space probe approaching Earth in 2286.^[4] Captain Joel Randolph^[5] reported that the ship's chief engineer had rigged a makeshift solar sail to provide emergency power for the crippled starship.^[4] The Yorktown was destroyed on Reference Stardate 2/3808 (August 2296).^[3]
