Jame[1] Finney was the daughter of Ben Finney, and was named in honor of his friend, James T. Kirk. When she believed that Kirk was responsible for her father's apparent death, Jame attacked Kirk, but later attempted to convince him to save his career and avoid a court martial when she realized the depth of Kirk's friendship with her father. After Kirk realized that Finney had faked his death, Jame helped her Kirk convince him to turn himself in.[2][3]
