The Federation Starship Richardson, a Baker class destroyer, was part of a Federation fleet—including the U.S.S. Vindicator NCC-26242 and U.S.S. Taylor—that engaged the Klingon "White Fleet" at Diogenes' Star on Reference Stardate 2/1711.17 (17 November 2273).[1]
