Waikiki was the name of a beachfront section of Honolulu, Hawaii on Earth. When a group of Starfleet officers found themselves stranded on a Class P moon, Priors Vd, in 2256 in the STO Timeline, the Andorian Ensign Th'Pev claimed that the icy moon was "like Waikiki beach" compared to some of the places he had gone camping while growing up on Andoria.[1]
