Prime Timeline
(The root of all realities)

Toasting was a way to honor someone or something with a short saying and a drink. Captain Kirk drank to a toast offered by Dr. Tristan Adams, director of the Tantalus V penal asylum on Stardate 2715.1.[1] Klingons also celebrated with toasts, such as when Commander Kor (prematurely) toasted the victory of the Klingon Empire's fleet over the Federation on Stardate 3198.4.[2]
