Located on the sixth planet of seven orbiting a G-Type star—the second star of a binary system—Colony Beta 6 was established in 2141,[1] and by 2212 was a thriving humanoid colony of 87,000 people, primarily populated by Humans and Andorians.[2] When the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 encountered the rogue planet Gothos on Stardate 2207, it had just entered Quadrant 904 and was eight days travel from Colony Beta 6.[3]
