The Durrett class was first brought into service on Reference Stardate 2/1509. Of the 108 vessels constructed by the late 23rd century, 102 remained in active service, one was in use by Starfleet Training Command, two were destroyed, two were listed as missing, and one had been scrapped. The Durrett class was produced at the Venus shipyard at a rate of 14 per year.[1]
