S.S. Eridani Star (FASA)
The Starship Eridani Star was a Mission class transport owned by TransSolar. Five weeks after Stardate 8310.5,[1] on Reference Stardate 2/1412 (December 2214),[2] the Eridani Star was sent to Daros IV in the hope of breaking an Orion monopoly over the sector, opening a trade route, and securing a long-term trade agreement with one of the ruling Five Families. En route, the Eridani Star was intercepted by the U.S.S. Patton, a Larson class destroyer, and was commandeered by five Star Fleet Intelligence operatives, also bound for Daros IV, who posed as members of the crew in order to complete Commander Michael Thorn's unfinished intelligence assignment.[1]
