Gorn freighters were first introduced in 2250, and came in several variants.

The FQS-type was a small Q-ship. It featured a crew complement of 60, a capacity of two shuttlecraft, ten cargo modules, two transporters, two tractor beam emitters, and it was armed with a single Type-F plasma torpedo launcher, two banks of Type-2 phasers, and one bank of Type-3 phasers. The FQL-type was a large Q-ship. It featured a crew complement of 120, a capacity of two shuttlecraft, 20 cargo modules, three transporters, three tractor beam emitters, and it was armed with two Type-F plasma torpedo launchers, and six banks of Type-1 phasers.

The FSPh-type was a small, phaser-armed freighter. It featured a crew complement of 80, a capacity of one shuttlecraft, 25 cargo modules, and one transporter, and it was armed two banks of Type-2 phasers. The FLPh-type was a large, phaser-armed freighter. It featured a crew complement of 120, a capacity of one shuttlecraft, 50 cargo modules, one transporter, and one tractor beam emitter, and it was armed five banks of Type-2 phasers and one bank of Type-3 phasers.

The FSPL-type was a small, plasma torpedo-armed freighter. It featured a crew complement of 80, a capacity of one shuttlecraft, 25 cargo modules, and one transporter, and it was armed one Type-G plasma torpedo tube and one bank of Type-2 phasers. The FLPL-type was a large, plasma torpedo-armed freighter. It featured a crew complement of 120, a capacity of one shuttlecraft, 25 cargo modules, and one transporter, and it was armed two Type-F plasma torpedo tubes, three banks of Type-2 phasers, and one bank of Type-3 phasers.
