An alcoholic beverage, consumption of Romulan whiskey was prohibited by Starfleet regulations. Nevertheless, on Stardate 57436.2, Ensign Beckett Mariner managed to obtain some on Douglas Station. Mariner admitted that she expected the drink to be green, but it was instead blue, like Romulan Ale, which Mariner felt was "a very beautiful color."[1]
