Constitution class[1]

The Constitution class[2] Starship Endeavour was commanded by Captain Mary Anne Rice from 2251 to 2265.[3] In 2265, the Endeavour, now under the command of Captain Zhao Sheng, was assigned to Starbase 47 in the Taurus Reach.[4] Several months later, in early 2266, Sheng was killed during an away mission on the planet Erilon, and was succeeded by his first officer, Atish Khatami.[5]

Constitution class refit[6]

The Endeavour underwent a refit in November 2270.[7] In 2291, the Endeavour was on a deep space exploration mission when it was selected for the proposed Operation Retrieve rescue mission.[2]

Note

The "Star Fleet Technical Manual" lists registry of the Endeavour (spelled as Endeavor) as NCC-1716; the "Federation Ship Recognition Manual," likewise, lists the registry of the Endeavour (also spelled as Endeavor) as NCC-1777. These conflicts, as well as conflicts in ship's status information, must be disregarded.
