Construction on the Federation Starship Molock, a Siva class destroyer (a variant of the Saladin class), was authorized by the Star Fleet Appropriation of Stardate 0965[1] and commissioned circa 2187. The class suffered from enormous design flaws, however, and all ships were withdrawn from service by Reference Stardate 1/9409 (September 2194).[2]
