Construction on the Federation Starship Nakarat, a Tikopai class cruiser (a variant of the Constitution class), was authorized by the Star Fleet Appropriation of Stardate 5930[1] and commissioned circa 2196. The Nakarat served during the Four Years War. After the conflict ended in 2198, all Tikopai class vessels were decommissioned and destroyed in weapons tests as part of Star Fleet's postwar demilitarization.[2]
