Constitution class[1]

The Constitution class Starship Potemkin was commissioned in June 2250, and refit to Mark III specifications in October 2262.[2] The Potemkin participated in the disastrous tests of the M-5 multitronic computer in 2267.[3] The Potemkin was destroyed in January 2270.[2]

Note

The registry listed for the Potemkin in the "Star Fleet Technical Manual," NCC-1711, and the registry listed in the "Federation Ship Recognition Manual," NCC-1702, both conflict with the registry given in "The Star Trek Encyclopedia," NCC-1657, which was also used in the remastered edition of "The Ultimate Computer," and must be disregarded.
