(The root of all realities)

United States Air Force Airman Basic Webb[1] was assigned to a radar monitoring station in 1969. When the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 accidentally traveled back in time to July 1969, Webb notified his Captain, who called in the unidentified "aircraft" that appeared on the radar screen, and a fighter jet was sent to investigate.[2]

Notes and References

  1. Webb was identified as "Technician" in the script and the credits, but his uniform bore a name tape identifying him as Webb. It had no rank insignia, which indicated that he was an Airman Basic.
