United States Air Force Airman Webb[1] was assigned to a radar monitoring station in 1969. When the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 accidentally traveled back in time to July 1969, Webb notified his Captain, who called in the unidentified "aircraft" that appeared on the radar screen, and a fighter jet was sent to investigate.[2]
