Myriad Universes: disruptor
The disruptor was a common Klingon weapon that disrupted the structure of living tissue or (at higher power levels) any solid matter. Klingon disruptors could be found in both shipboard and pistol configurations.[1] The disruptors used by the Eminians used highly compressed sound waves to disrupt their targets.[2]
